The National Annals of Historic Places is the official list of the Nation's celebrated places worthy of preservation. Authorized by the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, the National Park Service's National Annals of Celebrated Places is part of a national program to coordinate and support public and private efforts to place, evaluate, and protect America's celebrated and archeological resources.


How to Observe our Files

  1. National Athenaeum (NARA): Holds our records up to the end of 2012.
    The National Archives is the permanent home of our records and everything will somewhen be in the National Archives.

    The easiest way is to look upward the belongings in the searchable table below or download our spreadsheet. Both contain direct links to the files that have been scanned.

    Reference number search:
